I have always known that I had a passion for helping people and a love for leadership. I spent over 15 years of my life working for someone else in Corporate America or employed in a small business environment. I enjoyed taking the lead and helping companies grow in human potential and profits but I always felt something was missing. Drained from the constant turmoil of the rat race, one day I finally made a huge decision to change the path of my career, and that was when I found iPEC. Through taking the course with iPEC, I discovered the power of the Core Energy Coaching process, which not only helped me break through in all areas of life, but allowed me to help others do the same. Through the powerful Energy Leadership Certification program, I discovered what true leadership is all about, and now I am my own boss who gets to go out into the world to help others develop into strong, passionate leaders. iPEC has equipped me with strong interpersonal skills and the most advanced coaching tools. The journey of becoming a certified coach has been a deep and very rewarding one. Personally, it allowed me to understand who I am and what I care about. It gave me the time to reflect on my life, to explore what was important to me, and what happiness meant to me. I have recently had a number of family members and friends pass away unexpectedly and at a young age, and I wondered what dreams were unfilled for them. I love the Latin term Carpe Diem, which means “seize the day.” That’s how I aim to live my life. It’s easy to get set in your ways, to coast along and to be afraid of change. However, there can be no better feeling than to live the life you want, to pursue the dreams you have, and to be happy in what you do every day.
On a professional front, I use my coaching skills to help individuals in the corporate world become better managers and leaders. Nobody comes to work to do a bad job. Most people seek to improve and be happy but get stuck in situations in a pressurized work environment. Providing them a confidential avenue for downloading their concerns, stresses, and issues is invaluable. They really appreciate what you have done for them, and how you have sincerely cared about them and worked with them. It’s a fantastic feeling for them and me. When I decided to become a coach, I researched many programs but none of them provided the guidance and on-going support and tools to be a successful coach and have a successful coaching practice. From Mod I to Mod IV, this has been the best experience of my life and has truly inspired and motivated me to go full throttle with my coaching practice and to fully embrace my gifts talents and abilities, who I am, and what I bring to the world. I am a big believer of Pilates because they teach and prove that in order for your body to get balanced and strong you need to strengthen the core of your stomach first. I chose iPEC because the philosophy and teaching is the same for the mind, and I already know this to be the Truth. I have been in therapy and although I love the woman I go to, I learned more about myself and my blocks in one weekend than I have in 5 years. It is really amazing and I am so thankful to have joined this certificate program through iPEC.
I have not been thrilled with my career for about 10 years. I have done well but I'm not proud of it nor do I feel energized by it. This is the first time I KNOW what I want to do and I KNOW I'll be good at it. At the same time, I know it is a process to get there and I am allowing myself the time to do so.
